Help us plant 250,000 trees in July!

We are already half way to our target of raising £30,000 to plant 250,000 trees in Yorosso in South Mali at the start of the rainy season in July.

In the last 15 years, Joliba has planted several million trees in Mali and monitored the results. Our average long-term survival rate is 80.5%, which is much higher than in the UK. We would like to raise £20,000 for volunteers who have asked to plant 200,000 trees and £10,000 for grafted fruit trees that would provide significant income resources. It costs just 10p to plant a tree that is locally sourced and grown, does not use peat or plastic tree guards, that creates much-needed resources and income, and that helps to reduce searing temperatures and climate change.
